Privacy policy
Last updated: 26.09.2026
This Privacy Policy explains how personal and technical data are processed when you use Poke-One (website, game client, forum, support and payments). By using Poke-One you accept these terms.
1. Data controller
The data controller is the Poke-One team. For privacy matters contact us via Discord or the website Helpdesk.
2. What data we collect
- Account data: login, password (hashed), e-mail (if provided).
- In-game character data: nickname, level, inventory, quest progress and other data stored by the game server.
- Technical data: IP address, login timestamps, server and website logs (security, abuse, debugging).
- Communication: Helpdesk / forum content and messages sent to staff.
- Payments: premium point top-up details (e.g. account ID, amount, status). Card data is processed only by payment providers (e.g. Stripe) — Poke-One does not store it.
3. Purpose of processing
- Providing the game and website (account, characters, rankings, forum, points shop).
- Security: preventing bots, fraud, multi-accounting and abuse.
- Handling payments, premium points and complaints.
- Contact for technical and moderation matters.
4. Legal basis
We process data to perform the electronic service agreement (account and game), for our legitimate interests (security, moderation) and — where required — based on consent (e.g. optional fields).
5. Cookies and local data
- The website may store cookies / sessions needed for login, language (PL/EN) and security.
- The game client may store settings, cache and configuration locally on your device.
- We do not use third-party advertising tracking networks for marketing profiling.
6. Sharing data
We do not sell data. We may share it only with payment providers (for transactions), hosting / infrastructure providers, and authorities when required by law. Character nicknames, rankings and forum posts you publish may be publicly visible.
7. Retention
Account and character data are kept while the account exists and as needed for security and accounting. Technical logs are usually kept for a limited time. After account deletion, data are deleted or anonymised unless legal or security reasons require retention.
8. Your rights
- Access and update account data (e.g. password, e-mail in account settings).
- Request account / data deletion via Discord or Helpdesk (may take time due to backups and security).
- Object to processing where the law allows.
- Lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority if you believe processing violates the law.
9. Security
We apply technical and organisational safeguards (including password hashing, limited admin access, logs). No system is 100% secure — use a strong password and do not share your account.
